Your Therapist

What It’s Like To Work Together

Working with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and paced around you. I aim to create a calm, non judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel understood. There is no pressure to have the “right words” or to know were to start - we will work together to make sense of what is happening in your life at a pace that feels manageable.

I am mindful that many people come to therapy feeling unsure, vulnerable, or hesitant, especially if they have been carrying difficulties for a long time. My role is to offer a steady, supportive presence while helping you gently explore the connections between your relationships, life experiences, and emotional well being.

A Non - Judgmental Space

I work from a place of compassion, curiosity and non judgement. Many people worry about being judged or misunderstood in therapy-particularly if they feel stuck in patters they don’t fully understand themselves. My aim it to help you feel safe enough to explore these experiences openly, without blame or pressure.

Experience You Can Trust

Alongside my work in private practice, I bring over 20 years’ experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse working within NHS adult and children’s mental health services, including CAMHS. This experience allows me to work thoughtfully with complexity, risk, and emotional distress, while remaining grounded, calm, and relational in my approach.

I am also an IPT-UK accredited Clinical Supervisor and offer supervision to therapist’s seeking a reflective, containing space to develop their practice.

Professional Standards

I work in line with ethical and professional standards set by my governing and accrediting bodies. I am registered with the NMC, accredited by IPT-UK, fully insured for private practice, and engage in regular clinical supervision to ensure safe, reflective, and high quality work.
